Our Group 9 Commander LtCol. Leroy Barnett presented the Mitchell Award to Cadet Paul Dovi. Cadet Dovi has shown remarkable initiative and diligence in pursuing his CAP goals. Congratulations, Paul.

Capt. Theo Spanos who have been major contributors to the cadet program at
DeLand.
Maj. Friend In recent months, members of our Deland squadron donated some money to buy some nibble food for some of our troops. Capt. Bill Latham has handled the task of gathering the supplies and sending them out to some military units familiar to some of our members.
Our squadron just received a reply from one of
these units, the 103rd Field Artillery Brigade in Iraq. Their letter, a
certificate of appreciation, and a unit photo are included below.
