Civil Air Patrol has volunteer opportunities for people from all backgrounds and ages, from 12 up. You don’t need to be a pilot or a member of the armed forces (though pilots and veterans are absolutely welcomed to share their experience). CAP volunteers can be teachers, medical professionals, public employees, engineers, machinists, truck drivers, business people, and really anybody over the age of 12.
