Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and execute an IT strategy aligned with the organization's goals and mission.

Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, including recruiting, training, and performance evaluation.

Oversee IT systems, networks, and hardware implementation and maintenance.
-
Ensure the security and integrity of IT infrastructure, including cybersecurity measures.
-
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand technology needs and propose solutions.
-
Manage vendor relationships and procurement of IT equipment and services.
-
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
-
Prepare and manage the IT budget, making cost-effective decisions to optimize resources.
-
Provide technical expertise and support for IT-related projects and initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:
-
Grade of Captain / Technical Sergeant or above.
-
Technician rating in the Information Technology Officer Specialty Track.

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and working in a Windows environment.
-
Very strong organizational skills and extreme attention to detail.
-
Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
-
A highly professional demeanor, positive outlook, and a can-do attitude.
-
Reside within the Wing. Infrequent, temporary absences of short duration are permissible.

Experience in IT management and leadership roles.
-
Understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.
