What to Wear?

As per CAPR 39-1, CAP Uniform Regulation, the following uniforms will use by cadets, senior members, or any military service guest: 

General Assembly and Seminars (Break-Out session)

Saturday for General Assembly and Seminars: Service Uniforms, CAP Blazer Combination, Services Dress (Blue) & Aviation White T-Shirt, Corporate Uniforms, and USAF short-sleeve blues.

Banquet

Saturday Banquet: Mess Dress, Service Dress (with jacket), USAF long or short-sleeve blues, corporate equivalent (with jacket), or formal civilian Business attire: gown for females and tuxedo for males.

For Cadets: Semi-Formal, Class A, or Appropriate Civilian Attire. Females: dresses, evening dresses, and formal evening gowns are authorized in addition to the uniforms above.

IMPORTANT: Airman Battle Uniform (ABU), Flight Suits, CAP Polo Shirt, or any working uniform with gray slacks WILL NOT BE AUTHORIZED for wear during any of the conference events.

Pre-Conference seminars - Thursday & Friday, 4 - 5 April 2024

• Air Force light blue shirt/blouse with/without tie/tab

• Aviator shirt with/without tie and gray slacks or business casual attire.

• **** NO POLO SHIRTS****

Friday evening, 5 April 2024

• CAP appropriate casual attire

Saturday, 6 April 2024

• Daytime

  • Air Force light blue shirt/blouse with/without tie/tab

  • Aviator shirt with/without tie and gray slacks or business causal attire.

  • If taking a portrait picture for website:

    • Air Force light blue shirt/blouse with tie/tab

    • Aviator shirt with tie and gray slacks

  • **** NO POLO SHIRTS****

• Evening

  • Mess Dress

  • CAP blazer combination with plain white shirt and black bow tie

  • Service Dress, or appropriate civilian attire (suit, gown, etc...)

  • For cadets: semi-formal uniform or appropriate civilian attire.

• female cadets - please make sure that if wearing a dress or gown it is appropriate for civil air patrol functions
