Cadets who attend the Spring FLA will find the instruction to greatly help them when performing leadership roles at their home squadrons and at other CAP activities. Serving on Encampment staff provides a perfect opportunity for cadets to practice the lessons learned from the FLA. Cadets who intend on applying for Encampment staff are highly encouraged to attend the Spring FLA in order to begin developing their leadership abilities. You will learn the lessons needed to serve at any CAP event and this will weigh heavily when staff are being chosen for the next encampment.
The following courses are offered, you should register in accordance with your current grade.
Non Commissioned Officer Academy (NCOA)
Non Commissioned Officer Academy (SNCOA)
Cadet Commander Course (CCC)
FEES AND REGISTRATION
The activity fee is $80.00 for each participant. The fee covers all course expenses including activity t-shirt, lunch, and materials. Payment must be made online. All meals for Saturday and Breakfast for Sunday are covered.

Make certain you have your form 160 and form 161 printed, signed and scanned prior to filling out the online registration.

Cadet Instructor Applicants.
For consideration as a cadet instructor, cadets must have C/CMSgt and higher (can instruct the NCO academy), C/2nd Lt. and higher can instruct the SNCO academy and C/Capt and higher for the CCC and must be published in eServices prior to submitting the application package.
Applicants will email the activity director with a description of their desired position along with their CAP Resume and a letter of recommendation from their Squadron Commander (resume and recommendation waived for returning instructors). Once the Activity Cadet Commander has been chosen, they will reach out the other applicants to fill the individual academy instructor and lead instructor positions. The choices will be weighted heavily with previous FLA instructor experience, FLWG Encampment experience and teaching ability. Do NOT complete the online registration form unless you've been selected for staff.
Senior Instructor Applicants.
For consideration as a class advisors, seniors should have earned the Senior Rating in Cadet Programs or have extensive cadet programs experience. CAP experience external to the Cadet Program as well as professional experience outside of CAP may be considered for selection. Applicants will email email@example.com with a description of their desired position along with their CAP Resume. Do NOT complete the online registration form unless you've been selected for staff.
Senior Staff Applicants.
Senior staff applicants should have previous experience working in cadet programs activities at the group or wing level and be able to assist in administrative and logistics capacities for the activity. A current CAP driver’s license is also recommended.

Full refunds will be available until the suspense date and may be requested via the online refund request form. Requests for refunds after the suspense date will be based upon the activities ability to replace the paid for slot. Refund requests may take as long as 90 days after the end of the activity to process.
If you request a refund and have received no communication from the activity staff by 2 months with information pertaining to the refund request, please e-mail the activity director to ensure your request was received and is being processed.
The uniform for the virtual sessions will be the ABU. The uniform for the in-person classes will be blues class B with ribbons for students and without ribbons but with ties for instructors. Senior Members may wear the CAP polo uniform or the cooperate whites.
ABU's will be needed for this event.

A graduation ceremony will be held in the camp pavilion beginning at 1200 on 15 May 2022. Parking is available for no charge. Students will be dismissed following the graduation ceremony. There will not be a reception prior to the graduation therefore all guests for graduation are asked to plan their arrival to the facility no earlier than 1130.
