Florida Wing Encampment

Florida Wing Encampments are week long activities that serve to build a foundation for cadets from which to build their Civil Air Patrol experience. These events provide in-depth orientation to Civil Air Patrol and the United States Air Force. First time cadets can expect to be challenged both mentally and physically during a busy and exciting week of hands on leadership development training, aerospace events, and local site activities.

Ultimate Cadet Challenge

The Ultimate Cadet Challenge (UCC) is an annual event that tests the abilities of cadets in all areas of the Civil Air Patrol mission. Teams of four cadets compete for the title of ‘Ultimate Cadet’ against others in the wing. Events include Emergency Services activities, obstacle courses, written examination, uniform inspection, drill evaluation, and leadership reaction courses. Awards are presented during the Combat Dining-In.
