Reviewing Official: A6, Chief of Staff

 

Who May Apply: Active members of Florida Wing. If you don’t meet the requirements stated below, you may still apply, and be considered.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Designing new web pages as needed.

  • Uploading and updating of the FLWG website information on a timely basis.

  • Support Wing / Groups / Squadrons with website updates.

  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.

  • Checks with FLWG PAO for appropriate content on all pictures.

  • Responsible for of ALL FLWG website content.

  • Be familiar with CAP Branding Master Plan.

CAP Directives:
The Social Media Administrator should be familiar with the following directives:

  • CAPR 190-1

  • CAPR 900-2

  • CAPR 110-1

  • CAPR 110-3

  • CAPP 152

  • CAPP 201

  • CAPP 1-2

Desired Qualifications:

  • Grade of Captain / Tech Sergeant or above.

  • Technical rating in the Public Affairs Specialty Track preferred.

  • Marketing knowledge and experience, particularly in the higher education sphere.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Grade of 1st Lt / Technical Sergeant or above.

  • 2 years of relevant experience preferred.

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and working in a Windows environment.

  • Ability to work with or learn Global Reach SiteViz program.

  • Very strong organizational skills and extreme attention to detail.

  • A highly professional demeanor, positive outlook, and a can-do attitude.

Selection criteria are based on Civil Air Patrol training, experience, and participation, as well as civilian education and experience related to the position.
